Finally Big Help at Small-Group Rates!

IMG_4652Don't let yourself get off the rails on your good intentions again! Make Your Fitness and Better Riding Happen This Fall!

Small Group training is exponentially more effective than total DIY because you have help and accountability.  And not just from the coach (me).  Small group training is a safe space to be, whatever your fitness or riding level. It's a space where Everyone has potential, and Everyone wins.

For fall 2016, I am running a pilot project, taking the type of small group and workshop style training I've done countless times in face to face clinics, online.  This training is perfect for you if:

  • You've purchased an Equifitt workout plan ebook and got stuck, or lost motivation
  • You got going with the ebook or wanted to, but you have very individual needs and weren't sure how to adapt exercises to meet YOU where YOU were at
  • You bought the book and know you can do it..but you also know you need someone to hold you accountable so you can succeed.
  • This is the first time you've heard about the books, but you just know two things: you aren't ready for full on private training, but if you're on your own it's not going to happen.

You buy a package of 6 small group sessions, which you use in any 8 week period. We are online on Skype group chat for 30 minutes.  You get personalized support to help you achieve real results, for a fraction of the cost of personal training for that time! Plus, it will be like booster rockets for all your other training.  How much is it worth to you, to make every ride a percentage more effective? To reduce back pain? To reduce stress?

In the first part of the session, I explain some of the key points in the Killer Core for Riders Workout for that week, then we go into workshop mode where you ask questions about the workout you are using (even if you are using a different one, such as Gentle Workout for Mature Riders, or the new Fit to Ride in 9 Weeks program published by Trafalgar Square Books).  The group is small, so everyone gets hands-on opportunity to try things out, and get personalized feedback and input on technique or modifications for your individual needs.  It's just like a clinic or workshop, where everyone is a participant. You can also use the Q & A time to pick my brain and ask questions, just as if I were right there in person.  We can even chat diet and scheduling if it comes up, and if that's what you need. When the group is small, we have the flexibility.

You leave the session knowing what you are capable of, and knowing what you need to do for the next week until we meet again.

You can do this from home with simple equipment. Suggested equipment includes fitness ball, exercise or yoga mat, theraband or exercise tubing, and some freeweights. A balance board, BOSU, balance cushions or even just a pool noodle will also be useful.  Don't let equipment stop you. Seriously, you can get started right now, and adapt exercises to what you have. when you see how easy it is, you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner.

Legally, I can't make wild claims. But I can tell you that I've seen clients improve core stamina and posture in just a couple of weeks.

Group size is limited to six, so once you are signed up for a time-slot, that is your spot.

To attend, you just need to make sure I have your Skype id so that I can invite you to the session. Wear workout clothes, and have your equipment and some space available.

In Small Groups, we will go over the workouts that are in the Equifitt books, and focus on the Rider Fitness Training Scale foundations.  Small Group training is a great way to refresh your fitness habits, or lay down a base to build on.  It is an accelerator or enabler to everything else you do. Imagine if you were 10-20% more effective in your workouts and your riding sessions? Of course, precise numbers aren't possible, but getting on a regular plan and making significant improvements in core strength does have that effect with everyone I work with. Plus, you get personalized attention to your questions, and feedback that helps you tailor your experience to your needs, live and in person.
